Ecoshe is a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting sustainability and wellness through conscious consumption, with a focus on plant-based diets. Our flagship service, the Plant-Based Course, is an award-winning workshop that highlights the benefits of plant-based eating and its vital role in sustainability. Since its launch, we've educated over 1,200 participants across 50+ courses in Mauritius, the United Kingdom, and Portugal. Our program is particularly valued in the tourism sector, with prominent hotel groups like Beachcomber Resort & Spa, Lux Collective, Attitude Group, and Marriott Group, to name a few, incorporating our training as part of their Sustainable Food Tourism Initiatives. We also served a diverse range of clients, including schools, corporate entities, and community organizations such as Le Bocage International School, Westcoast International Secondary School and the Rotary Club of Grand Baie to name a few. What sets our program apart is its gentle, non-judgmental approach to dietary education, coupled with interactive elements such as food tastings, quizzes, and app integration. Our CEO and Founder, Heather Drummond, also serves as the Mauritius Ambassador for the Plant-Based Treaty, further amplifying our impact on climate change. Additionally, we offer a Restaurant Assessment and Transformation service to help hospitality venues implement sustainable food practices, and we feature this service in our Membership Program, which already includes major hotel groups. We have also developed an Ecoshe E-Cookbook to be published next year, featuring simple, nutritious, Mauritian-friendly and budget-friendly recipes, shared with all participants of our course. At Ecoshe, our mission is simple: to make a difference, one meal at a time.
